When the dynamic director of New York's leading cancer institute becomes his mentor and champion, he is set on a path of acclaim and prestige that could lead directly to the Nobel Prize. On Dec. 9 at Rothko Chapel,
Da Camera joins the worldwide celebration of the centennial of French composer Olivier Messaien with a performance of his piano cycle Visions de l'Amen.
Jazz pianist Cyrus Chestnut brings his A Cyrus Chestnut Christmas concert to Houston on December 12. With music from A Charlie Brown Christmas and other holiday favorites, this celebratory event features special guest vocalist Vanessa Rubin.
Free A Little Day Music concert on December 3 at noon. The Fischer Duo performs a chamber music concert.

It's guaranteed to snow inside the Hobby Center! TUTS’ own dazzling production of Irving Berlin’s White Christmas is part of the 2008-2009 “Wow, What a Season!”
The musical is based on the 1954 movie, “White Christmas” starring Danny Kaye and Bing Crosby, who play war-buddies turned vaudeville showmen.
The plot thickens when they meet two song-bird sisters and romantic antics ensue.
With an cast of 32, nearly two-dozen musicians, elaborate staging, choreography and costumes, the show is a true spectacle and serves as the perfect framework for the presentation of Berlin’s hit songs “Blue Skies,” “Count Your Blessings” and the title song, “White Christmas.”
